I thought this was cute, and since I can only use it for today, I figured why not.

~So Happy Birthday DeviantArt~

I don't really have anything else to say at the moment since I really must get back to writing fanfiction...otherwise I'll get people asking if I abandoned it or something.

Oh and that reminds me...Fanfiction.net has really pissed me off lately because of the way they have been starting to get rid of all the MA rated fics.

I guess they haven't allowed MA rated fanfiction on their site for quite a while..but it's still rather annoying.

So if anyone knows of a site just as good as FF that does allow K-MA rated fanfiction, I would appreciate your help.

Sherlock~

I felt as if I needed to change my journal. It's been on my rant about the Hunger Games for far too long and it's starting to get on my nerves.

So...to talk about something else, possibly something positive for once.

SHERLOCK. :sherlock:

Best damn BBC show ever~ I was foolish enough to know about it for almost a year before I finally decided to watch it. I wish I had done so sooner. There aren't many episodes, but the little they do have are simply wonderful.

Steven Moffat was always my favorite writer because of Doctor Who, and he has done a great job with this series as well.  I found out he was also the screenwriter for The Adventures of Tintin, which explains why that movie was so good.

Now the only thing I could wish for is that John would stop denying he's gay and simply admit he loves Sherlock. They are so perfect together.

I really cannot understand what people see in the Hunger Games.

I was in a bookstore a few days ago and saw those books lying around, so I picked one up and started to read it. Being the kind of person that is always looking for something new to read, I thought I'd give it a try since everyone seemed to think so highly of it.

The very first page left me thinking it was poorly written. Not only did it seem very simple in it's use of words, but the way it was written itself didn't exactly stand out to me.

But none-the-less, I decided to give it another chance and continued to read. I managed to get through the first two chapters before I put it down. Now I know people will say that you cannot judge a book by only reading the first part, but for this book, that was all I needed to read.

I cannot fathom how Suzanne Collins has managed to have people call her a great author. Her writing skills are far better suited for a fan fiction site than a novel. I'm sure some blame should fall on her editor, for they were clearly not doing their job when they allowed the grammatical errors to go unnoticed.

As for the plot itself...well I shall not even go there...

If people only stopped reading stories with no redeeming quality such as the Hunger Games and started reading the classics, they would see just what they were missing. That's not to say that there are no good modern authors, quite the opposite, there are many. Some are even quite popular such as J.K. Rowling or Brian Jacques.

Yet in spite of that, people will still go after stories like the Hunger Games. I find it hard to believe sometimes.

And I know if people bother to read this, they will probably hate me for what I said, but it's simply what I thought of the book. Just my opinion.

On a side note,  I miss when iscribble allowed people to roleplay.

Of course they never did like yaoi or yuri. But you could get around those rules and it was still fun. I remember when I would have at least five tabs open at one time.

Now you're lucky if you can find any at all.  And a lot of the people I used to know never log in anymore.
